Welcome!
Welcome to the official launch of The Hardworking Creative. I’m so glad to see you here!
My name is Hailey Hudson, and I’m a hardworking creative who inspires other creatives to put in the legwork that’s necessary to make their dreams become their reality.
This is a place where creatives are celebrated. Whether you’re a writer, painter, filmmaker, graphic designer, violinist, dancer, actor, you name it—if you pride yourself on both your creativity and your work ethic, then you are welcome here. If you’re looking for your people, you’ve found them.
This website was inspired by the fact that I wanted to find my people. I graduated high school last year and I’m not in college–I’m focusing on my career. And as much as I love getting up every day and sitting down with my laptop, it can get a little lonely. So through THC, I hope to create opportunities for collaboration between successful young creatives from all over the world.
Here at The Hardworking Creative, you’ll find biweekly blog posts: monthly success stories from young creatives just like you, plus more exciting content explaining what the lifestyle of a hardworking creative really looks like—tips on marketing, branding, social media, and all the things I’ve learned through trial and error over the past couple of years. Eventually I plan on THC also having an ebook, merchandise, and an online job board where you can find reputable paying jobs in your creative field. We’ll kick off our monthly interviews this Saturday, March 3rd–stay tuned, because you don’t want to miss the indie musician who’s up first.
Until then, poke around all you like, and make sure to subscribe by email by entering your email address into the right-hand sidebar. Also, keep checking during the next few days: I’ll be updating this post with links to THC’s blog tour. Several bloggers were kind enough to interview me, and I can’t wait for you to read their posts. Keep an eye out on social media, too–you can find THC on every social media platform (check the sidebar for direct links), and today Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest will be flooded with THC info.

Hey, this is a little late, but I’m super excited to see what this blog will develop into!
My name is Deborah, and I’m nearly 16. I have my two blogs of my own – a main one, and a novel blog – I mainly write fiction, but also journal, draw, make movies, and dabble in some graphic design. I technically play piano and ukulele, but music takes more of a backburner for me.

So glad you’re here, Deborah!

My name (er, pseudonym) is S.F. Dekreel, and I’m almost seventeen years old. I enjoy billions of things — where do I start…? I write, I draw, I write music, I compose poetry, I do photography, I daydream, I play piano and cajon, I do a touch of slideshow/movie-making, I love learning new languages, and I would love to learn how to act.
